Wells Fargo Taps Arnie Adkins to lead Middle Market Banking Western Mid-Atlantic Office

Roanoke-born, 28-year commercial banking veteran to oversee lending operations

ROANOKE, Va. – Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) Middle Market Banking announced today that Arnie Adkins has been named regional vice president for its Western Mid-Atlantic commercial lending operations, covering Lynchburg, Southwest Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and West Virginia.

Based in Roanoke, Adkins leads Wells Fargo’s local Middle Market Banking team serving Western Mid-Atlantic companies with annual revenues of $20 million and more. A native of Roanoke, Adkins joined Wells Fargo in 1989 and completed the bank’s commercial banking training program. For 20 years, Adkins managed new loan portfolios and led a team of analysts in underwriting and servicing for the Western Mid-Atlantic.

Adkins graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance. He currently volunteers with United Way and Reading First, and is a past member of the Mill Mountain Theatre board.
