Lauffer to focus on coverage of clients in the biopharma sector
NEW YORK – Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking, a part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), announced today that David Lauffer has joined its Healthcare Investment Banking group as a managing director covering the biopharma sector. Based in New York, he will report to Omid Ahdieh, head of Healthcare Corporate & Investment Banking.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Lauffer served as a managing director at RBC Capital Markets, specializing in coverage of biopharma clients. Similarly, he covered the healthcare industry at both Barclays and Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s investment banking divisions. He also spent time with Novartis in Basel, Switzerland, where he was director of M&A in the pharma division. Lauffer holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
